HAIR & BEAUTY | GLOWWBOX JUNE ’15 EDITION: ‘LET THE SUN SHINE’ REVIEW*

Hi Lovelies. Let the sun shine indeed, especially with all the glorious weather we’ve been enjoying lately. The June Glowwbox sure took the beauty challenges of heat into consideration not only providing us with the fabulous Mehron Velvet Finish Primer that literally glides like velvet on the skin and that I’ve had the pleasure of owning before but also spraying us (literally) with the benefits of the Silvertree Moroccan Argan Oil that prevents drying and dehydration and also smells like a lush dream.

The Lucy Annabella Argan & Bergamot Organic Treat Oil has a lovely soft feel on the skin but extremely strong smell, which you can excuse for the benefits.
I’m becoming an avid collector of all things that enhance ones natural glow so the Black Opal Colour Spluge Eye Colour in Dusky Glow was more than welcome to my eyeshadow collection. It gives a very natural look when I use the brown shade across my lid and the lighter hue in the corners and it’s very easy to apply although quite light in pigmentation.

I just love how the Black Opal Colour Splurge Patent lips in Orange Blaze glistens on the lips. True to its name it is vibrant and highly pigmented. Although it is thick in texture, it’s creaminess allows it to last a good distance without drying out the lips. Although I matted mine down with tissue for less shine, it’s a beautiful gloss and shade.

There’s nothing like a good clay mask after a hot and sweaty day and the ClaySpay White Clay and Ginseng mask didn’t disappoint. Although quite a thickly textured clay to apply, it worked well to make my skin feel revitalised.

A fab 5.5/6 marks for the June GlowwBox.
