Fashion Blogger Abigail Ayoola Wearing Red Burberry Blazer

“Be faithful to your own tastes because nothing you really like is ever out of style.”

While initially working as a fashion stylist allowed me to present beautiful art to the public, I would always get questions on how it was being a stylist, whether it was all fun and easy and how I put the looks together. I also would get questions on how I would personally put looks together and my personal style, so in 2010 I created my blog as another outlet for my art.

Serving up style tips, lifestyle ideas, personal style inspiration with weekly outfit posts, behind the scenes events and more, AbigailAyoola.com has become a go-to destination for the lady who appreciates luxury, high end and high street in search of fashion, beauty and lifestyle inspiration. A digital space for the lady that values style and takes pride in her appearance.

Through my passion for showing behind the scenes of my work, giving style tips and sharing my personal style, I have been able to work through my blog with many brands to authentically create style campaigns, outfit stories and product recommendations* for my lovely readers, even serving as beauty brand ambassador for GlowwBox beauty box in 2015.

Just to be clear, as a fashion stylist I’m not the one that creates the clothes, I’m the one that makes magic happen with the whole look from head to toe, so basically, if life is about putting your best foot forward, I’m the one that makes sure you’re wearing the right shoe!

I understand how daunting fashion can be for some people, understanding trends, dressing for your shape and colour tones of your skin, I also understand how frustrating it can be curating a wardrobe you can look at daily and simply pick out an outfit without getting a headache, I get it, you just want effortless style.

For over a decade, I have added value to the lives of many, from one on one styling sessions to large editorial campaigns, through helping them understand the impact of their presentation. Style isn’t just about matching colours and following trends, it’s about self/brand-awareness and showcasing what you’re about without saying a word, ultimately style is about telling your story.

I provide personal styling services that ultimately help you understand the power of style, not just clothes but the impact of every fashion piece you choose on your presentation and personality daily. From one on one personal shopper sessions and wardrobe detoxes to picking the perfect outfit for an event you’re attending. I work with you to present the best you. My passion for adding value to every client is evident in my work over the past decade.

I believe in simple but effective style, it’s not about quantity but quality that indeed makes the marking of a good closet and I help you understand luxury doesn’t have to cost the earth. I cater to your personal style needs with care, patience and a personal touch.

Successful personal styling is not just about getting a closet full of clothes, it is a process that helps you better understand your personal tastes, confidence level, what drives you and how to communicate using a language that doesn’t require words.

Fashion styling and editorials are all about telling stories and I do love a great story. I love the opportunity to really display creativity without the constraints of practicality, comfort or convention and I am able to combine and mould trends as well as incorporate a wide variety of influences and inspirations into my work. I work excellently to the brief of the client, whether it’s a haircare campaign, tv show or magazine editorial, and I love the challenge of being able to bring to life a story that was once only a vision, some of my work has even been published in magazines such as Vogue Italia and Pride Magazine.

“Thank you to Abigail for helping me to create a timeless wardrobe for work. I would highly recommend her services, very professional but friendly attitude. Abigail put me at ease, encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone and embrace some of the new trends.” – Varaidzo, Personal Styling Client

“Abigail was a pleasure to work with, she was quick to reply and wrote a great post in reasonable time. I’d definitely love to work with Abigail again in the future.” – Chloe.S, Blogger Engagement – The Body Shop

Abigail was a pleasure to work with. She is very kind and thorough and her sense of style is impeccable. We would be honoured and glad to work with Abigail again in the future and know she will grow to be one of UK’s top bloggers in the near future. Abigail featured two items from Jenabelle as was able to pull them off and make them shine. Thank you, and your blog is a must read for all the aspiring fashionistas out there. Best, – Polly Amore, Fashion Assistant – Jenabelle

“Abigail is one of the most professional stylists I have worked with. She has a great go-getter attitude and an innate keenness to understand what exactly the photographer is looking for, which she delivers accordingly. I really liked the fact that she has many creative ideas of her own and helps improvise a theme to perfection. I really enjoyed working with her and I am looking forward to collaborating with her again soon!” – Mudita Aeron, Photographer

I first came across Abigail’s work on another photographer’s portfolio and decided to collaborate with her on my editorial shoot based on the quality of styling I saw. Before the day of the shoot we had communicated our ideas well in advance with a mood board and all other information. On the shoot itself, Abigail arrived with a vast array of outfits for two models plus a whole host of helpful ideas. I have to say in all honesty that she made that shoot one of the best (if not THE best) I had done. Thank you so much Abi, I look forward to our next collaboration! – Ayad Al-Adnani, Photographer

Such a pleasure working with Abigail, her sense of style and fabulous mood board interpretation delivered a set of incredible dresses for our shoot. Excellent communication throughout, the passion and energy Abigail brings to the mix is very refreshing and rewarding. Thank you Abigail, look forward to working with you again soon. – Paul Betts, Photographer
