It’s been 1 flash of a year since first being introduced to the beauty box brand GlowwBox. Of course, it’s also been a year of having fun trying out lovely new products in their monthly subscription boxes since the first Glowwbox beauty box review. For their September & 1 year beauty box, Glowwbox has us defining eyes, radiating with day creams and soaking in lavender.
If you also have a slight underlying obsession with lip liners and eyeliners, you’ll love the Black Opal Automatic Eye Lining Pencil in Licorice. Applying it is easy and it has a smooth glide but not too soft that it breaks up on use and not too hard that it scratches the skin. The pencil could do with being a bit bolder with a more defining black finish and not as faint as it is. Although it’s great for some soft glam compared to the striking finish of liquid liners.
DAY CREAMS
Scent is an important part of beauty, from perfumes to creams and even lipsticks to lotions. Although the UrbanVeda Purifying Day Cream scent isn’t an award winner, it does have a nice feel to it. It has a lovely light texture upon application but it’s affects are as long lasting as more textured day cream.
Alternatively, the September box favourite pick is the UrbanVeda Radiance Day Cream. It has a beautiful soft perfumed scent to it and just glides smoothly on the skin. Additionally, it has a slight ointment feel to it, which is preferential because it doesn’t leave the skin still feeling dry after application, as some lighter creams do.
