This beauty inspiration post is in collaboration with Savoo called ‘How Much Is My Face Worth?’. Fabulously created to provide reviews on some stylish and practical beauty products and their prices, it details each product, its best and worst features, as well as its ease of application. The reviews should give you exceptional beauty inspiration and makeup tips. All the reviewed products are from LookFantastic, who are under The Hut Group brand. All together, the products cost just over £50 in total and that was before using a discount code from Savoo, which is always helpful. Using the products was easy and created a final effortless and sun-kissed look.
FOR THE FACE…
The first product is the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge. (£5.99) aka the beauty blender, because who doesn’t want better, smoother foundation application. Despite there are some beauty inspiration videos and reviews online about these sponges, it was underwhelming in foundation application but fantastic in blending in concealer and contouring.
Next up was the Bourjois Smokey Eyes Trio in Nude Ingenu (£7.99) was applied to the crease and the corners. Having already tried the Gris Dandy set in the black/grey palette, this presents like an everyday natural glow palette. The colours are not highly pigmented but they work perfectly if you’re going for a subtle shimmer look.
Afterwards, the Benefit They’re Real! Push Up Liner (£18.50). At first thought, the price without the discount seems a bit steep but Benefit products from experience are worthwhile. It was an excitable must try product for the mandatory winged eye line. If you have high expectations for an effortless liner application, it is definitely not the product to use, especially if you are in a make up rush in the mornings. Although it gives great definition to the winged end, it can be difficult using the tip to create a thin line for the rest of the eye without the liner constantly breaking off. None the less, it has a very nice deep black shade and once it’s on, it stays on.
To finish off the sun-kissed look, the Elizabeth Arden Beautiful Color Moisturizing Lipstick in Honey No Colour Honey (£15.00) is great. More alluring for its gorgeous gold casing than the price, it is quite the prominent nude for your lipstick collection. A brown lipliner works perfectly to blend this bold nude out for darker skin tones. To see the final make up look dressed up, view the colour blocking red & blue outfit.
Finally for nails, the Maybelline New York Color Show Nail Lacquer in colour ‘110R Coral Reefs’ was the bargain pick of the bunch at £2.99. These nails perfectly complement a neutral colour palette. It’s so easy to apply and dries super fast.
Even though the majority of products are decently priced, a good saving with savoo’s discount codes is always welcome. There’s even a look fantastic page on Savoo’s site where you can purchase the beauty inspiration products used & reviewed here. Get all the discount codes you need at Savoo because beauty should also be pretty in price too.
