AN INTERVIEW WITH ESTELLE PULESTON

AN INTERVIEW WITH ESTELLE PULESTON

This ‘In The Starlight’ feature is an interview with Estelle Puleston, the director and designer behind Esty Lingerie. Esty Lingerie is the online luxury lingerie boutique Estelle set up in 2008. It specialises in independent designers, offering Corsets, baby dolls, basques, bustiers, bra sets, knickers, hosiery, garters and more.

I’m definitely a supporter of Esty Lingerie having featured some pieces in my recent editorial work. You can see the fabulousity for yourself in the See.7 Magazine Blinded Editorial and the See.7 Magazine Black & Blue Editorial. I have also personally indulged in some of the brands pieces because of the amazing quality. Today Estelle Puleston is sharing why she has a love of Tapas, bubble baths and cat hats in this interview fit for fun truths.

1. Favourite piece from your current collection.

The white lace babydoll with yellow trim and pearl beads- I love the pattern on the lace and I think it’s just the right level of sheer to look sexy without being tacky!

2. Favourite mid-day snack.

I don’t think I could choose just one thing. I love Spanish food though so maybe some sort of tapas or bread with cheese and ‘jamon’.

3. Favourite winter accessory.

Hats! I have loads, I especially love ones with ears – teddy ears, cat ears…

4. Favourite piece of advice you’ve been given.

That I could do whatever I wanted to do; it’s why I thought to set up Esty Lingerie in the first place!

5. Favourite 3 winter colours.

Black because it’s a classic and warm to wear, plus burgundy and white both make me think of Christmas.

6. Favourite Trend for S/S 2012.

1920s revival – I saw a beautiful flapper-style dress by Réyes that I’m desperate to get hold of!

7. Favourite way to stylishly unwind after a long day.

A long, hot bath full of bubbles!
