When it comes to bridesmaid dresses, you’re usually at the mercy of the brides style and personal taste, so a bridesmaid in blue theme chosen by a friend with good taste really helps. The wedding colours were blue with flashes of gold and hints of red. Blue is such a beautiful classy colour, complimentary to many skin tones and combined with the elegant fishtail design of the dress, makes for a simple sophisticated look. The subtle shine of the satin and gold beaded motif also made a nice statement.
Our dresses were all custom made, which of course made a great difference to the fit and style. The colour, simple style and custom fit means that the dress can still be worn after the wedding for gala events or even as a wedding guest. I even used this dress concept to style blue wedding lace in a custom dress for the after party.
In all honesty, being a bridesmaid can be a demanding and arduous role. So it really helps to be in a comfortable outfit that you can carry out your duties in. Being on my feet all day, these red ankle strap heels were a great easy pick. While also adding a statement pop of colour to the look. Our gold accessories including the hair fascinator added a classic finish to the ensembles. In the end, it was truly a beautiful wedding with a stunning bride, served by happy & stylish bridesmaids in blue.

You make the dress look beautiful…what other colour of shoes can you wear with it and still make each component stands out??
Awww Thank you A.Micheal. Other possible shoe combinations could have been blue or gold, which some of the other bridesmaid's wore.
Another beautiful post. I love how you chose bright colored shoes rather than gold.
