Blazers tend to have a sophisticated formal feel about them but they’re great pieces to style even a casual outfit. Even though they are cut more casually than a suit jacket, they are still classic and versatile. The elegant tailoring of a blazer jacket works nicely in contrast to sharpen up a more relaxed look.
The first time wearing this blue blazer, I styled it with heels and an embellished top. For this outfit, I paired it with a grey beanie hat and pink All Stars for a totally casual vibe. Although the sun was out this week, there was still a little chill in the air so the hat and black were practical as well as stylish. For a few stylist pulls and casual meetings, this outfit was something quite practical and comfy.
The open back and front print detail of the top make it a cute casual piece to style with and without the blazer. Also, along with the bold clutch bag, the top adds some colour to break up the blues of the blazer and the cropped trousers.
