HOW TO WEAR A MAXI TRENCH COAT

Although generally, trench coats are easy to wear & style, a maxi, also known as longline, version requires a nice balance to pull it off. It looks fabulous worn over a trouser outfit but should either be longer or shorter than your trouser hem. This is so you don’t look short or stumpy. Similarly, when wearing skirts, the hem of the maxi coat should mostly fall lower than the shirt hem to give a taller appearance and more flattering look.
