Gold is not the usual work wardrobe go to but how you wear it to the office is the difference between ‘golden girl’ and ‘go home girl!’. We know gold is usually associated with glitz and glamour and the representation of luxury. So that’s why we’re more likely to wear it to a ball than the boardroom. Even the last outfit edit showed how to wear gold in a beautiful crystal party outfit.
As a fashion stylist, I believe you can wear any stye or trend, so long as you style it accordingly. My clients know to never limit their choices, even to work. This outfit shows exactly how you can wear gold to work and still look professional.
Although in person, the top has quite a shimmer to it, it still structured enough to not look so casual. The fact that it also looks like a yellow tone in bright lights also gives it some versatility. The tailored trousers, even with its fun print, adds more sophistication to the look. The fluted sleeves of the top add some edge to the ensemble, whilst the simple accessories refine the look.
If you don’t want to go so bold with the gold top but prefer the gold print of the trousers, the full print power suit might be more to your liking. Gold is every woman’s friend. She just likes to be handle with style, grace and no apologies.
