STYLING A BLACK LACE DRESS

Styling a beautiful black lace dress is much easier than you would think. This gorgeous piece features pleats, floral detailing and the oh so glamorous lace that makes most of the effort. I wore this outfit to film an exciting new fashion tv pilot called ‘Closet247’.

Remember the jones+jones A/W 2013 press day I attended a while ago? Well I spotted this beautiful black lace dress from a mile off (well a few feet at least) and I just had to have it. The piece is called the Lyndsey dress and its structure and design surely makes styling a black lace dress effortless. The pleated skirt detail makes the look feminine and playful, while the sheer floral lace top and neckline adds sophistication. By pairing the dress with black and gold, it created a look fit for a party, date or simply making a statement.

Although the dress’ versatility is limited given its distinguishable design, its styling options are numerous.
