To work on the Pride Magazine Bright Young Things photoshoot I was styling yesterday, I wore a black leather dress layered with polkadot print. When I’m working on editorials, I like to wear clothes I can be in all day and move comfortably in whilst still looking stylish. I loved the simple front faux-leather panel on my black shift dress. Which although isn’t form fitting, still looks feminine with the polka dot top added on to create a flattering silhouette.
I haven’t worn knee-high socks since secondary school (high school for you U.S Folks). But since I didn’t want to wear tights or bare legs, my metallic contrast otk pair were the perfect compromise. The beige blazer added a little formality and its neutral tone complemented the look. It also came in handy should the weather have changed but luckily it was a sunny day all day.
I clearly didn’t feel the need to go easy on accessories when styling this leather dress since I layered up on necklaces and arm candy. The simplicity and chic-ness of the dress means it is versatile. So that minus the polka dot top and knee socks, you’ve still got an outfit fit for the evening.

SHOP THE POST:
You looked fabulous yesterday.
Thank you very much Ayad. x
