STYLING A LACE INSERT TOP

A top never has to be boring especially with the gorgeous lace insert options available for styling. The pink lace insert of this black t-shirt adds a romantic feel to the outfit and even uplifts the look. This creates a daytime look of luxury and glamour that I played on by adding the pink faux fur scarf and satin clutch bag. I also loved the rock and roll vibes of the lace insert top with it’s tail-coat back. And what better way to enhance that, than with a black leather jacket. Leather and lace match so well that I style them together often such as leather and lace the casual way.

When it comes to understanding my personal style, I’m generally not a ‘pink’ lady. So this outfit is a little bold for me but definitely worth the wear. The bright blue jeans are a versatile piece that work to add some contrast to the outfit. While the vintage necklace I’m styling also works to tie all the outfit colours together, including the subtle gold tones of the lace insert top. Finally, I slipped on these ankle strap platforms that I have had for the longest time without ever wearing them. But they work so well with the whole look without overloading on pink.
