It’s spring, that means styling transitional pieces like ripped jeans for the seasons change. Transitional pieces in your wardrobe not only provide you styling versatility but great cost per wear. Although ripped jeans are great summer pieces, with some creativity you can also make them work through cooler spring and autumn as shown in how to style a bobble sleeve jumper. You can even make them work through winter if you prefer more than a chilly breeze on your legs.
These cropped ripped jeans have a nice laid-back vibe and their slightly distress style gives the look an edgy finish. For spring styling, I wore floral leggings under the ripped jeans for not only warmth but a cool print peek. This creative layer works well because the undertone colour of the leggings matches the blue of the jeans. This makes the print a subtle hint of striking detail.
To balance the casual feel of the jeans, I paired it with a black sequin top and black heeled boots. Despite the sunshine lately, there’s still a chill in the air so the faux fur collar coat was not only practical, but added an elegant touch of colour and along with the top, more texture.
