TRYING OUT THE PYJAMA TREND

TRYING OUT THE PYJAMA TREND

The pyjama trend of last year shows no real sign of dying down and if like me you never really got into it, here’s an easy way of trying it out. Until recently I really didn’t get the point of the trend & to be honest I’m still not the biggest fan. But I truly do love these silk stripe trousers. No matter how much I tried to convince myself that they were just simple silk trousers, there was just something quite pyjama-ry about them but hey, they still work.

That’s probably what’s so alluring about the pyjama trend, the pieces are comfortable, inviting and versatile, given that you can where them out and in bed. Worn right, the trend looks chic and ladylike and worn wrong, it looks like you’ve given up on life. This laid back look worked well for casual meetings and a lunch date on a miserable weather day. So paired with a silk top and camel coat, this ensemble was all about cool comfort.

There are many ways of trying out the pyjama trend without going all in. And thigh length silk robes or stripe silk shirts are great place to start. Remember to add some heels when you indulge the trend, so people are aware that you’re aware of what you’re wearing.

I also have one pajama pants and honestly, I always have a hard time pairing it with some of my clothes. You did well with this outfit though and I love the shoes.
