Believe it or not, orange is a great colour to wear. It might not be the new black but it’s still a great colour a style, especially in a bold blazer. Just like how to wear yellow, orange can be a very complimentary colour on many skin tones if styled correctly. One of the most flattering shades of orange to wear is burnt orange, like this blazer. It is so easy to pair with leopard print as shown in styling an orange coat, with denim, black and even cobalt blue. You can also wear it in more formal look as well as casual outfits.
Styling this look was quick and easy because I picked a cute floral shirt to style with more casual grey trousers. The cool wedge ankle boots went really well with the hat, both of which are also practical for the cold weather. For a pop of colour and a more tailored finish, I wore the orange blazer over the look that suited me running around town on stylist business. To mute the colour of the blazer just a bit, I layered a faux fur scarf over it.
An all black outfit paired with this orange blazer would be an alternative striking outfit to wear to the office. For a casual option, styling a white t-shirt under a brighter shade orange blazer with light wash crop jeans would look fabulous. Just like the colour orange, you have to be bold and interesting.
