It is important to achieve your best in and out of workout wear, whether that be in fitness or fashion. Of course going through the whole day in yoga pants serves no-one well but wearing the right gear for the right activity is the right idea. Just because you’re headed to sweatsville and fluster-land, does not mean that style should be neglected. So if you’re on a new fitness journey and like me have decided to take up running, you’ll require the right kind of workout gear for you, which can be a challenge in itself.
When picking workout wear for fashion and fitness, select tops in lightweight breathable materials. Aim for block colours that can easily be paired with flexible bottoms. If selecting sweatpants instead of yoga pants, make sure they are still fitting and flattering. Choose appropriate footwear that are made for the activity you’re doing. These new red/black running trainers literally feel like you’re ‘on clouds’ and make the biggest difference when running.
This outfit, with simple light pieces like the black running leggings and black tank top makes the perfect workout ensemble. Just like fashion outfits, fitness looks can also feature statement pieces. So to create a focal point, the print sleeve track jacket was layered over the all black outfit. Fitness, like fashion requires consistency, so be sure to stay on track with your health as you do with your style.
