WEARING BLUE FOR VALENTINES DAY

WEARING BLUE FOR VALENTINES DAY

Blue isn’t the most conventional colour to wear for valentines day but it’s stunning and bold, especially in bright shades. Now it’s almost that time, where most celebrate their love like no other commercialised day. And for those with plans known and unknown for Feb 14th, it’s a time to get the love look perfected. Usually the commercial colour of love is red and while blue does cause a different reaction to red, like producing calming chemicals its not so bad to go in a different direction.

Red is an emotionally intense and stimulating colour and wearing a monochrome red outfit idea might indeed get a mans pulse racing. But blue is all about loyalty, confidence and intelligence and if there’s anything a woman should be, it’s those 3 qualities. For inspiration to wear your beautiful blue valentines day look, here are a few understated but gorgeously flattering blue dresses. Not only will they inspire your style for the romantic period but along with the Colour Block Sandals will work as versatile pieces in your wardrobe for many other celebration days.

The Roland Mouret Bronte Stretch Dress is my favorite. I have a wedding to attend in the spring and that would be perfect for it. 1752 is kind of steep, so I'll be looking for a more affordable substitute. Great post.
