When browsing the newly discovered site Beauty Base, I wanted to try Valentino’s Valentina Eau De Parfum 50ml Spray, a soft feminine fragrance. Although I usually tend to prefer more musky scents, it was certainly a great pick. Sometimes women’s fragrances can be too sweet, to the point of sickly, and too floral but the Valentina perfume is the perfect balance. Not only is the the scent so fresh, romantic and quite addictive but it lasts throughout the day.
The scent has a classic sensual feel to it that gets you lost in the aroma, especially when it’s freshly applied. The bottle is so perfectly pretty and minimal and Beauty Base had it wonderfully protected and packaged. It was also dispatched within 24 hours which is handy for those last minute orders. Their prices are almost half the RRP’s and they have such a huge range of fragrances to chose from. Which is so much more convenient as I used to have to go to different shops for particular fragrances. Deciding to try something new is never a bad thing, even if it doesn’t change your original preferences. This feminine fragrance that is the oriental, floral perfume Valentina by Valentino was surely a chic worthwhile try.
