At the Ecoluxe London A/W 2013 Exhibition show during London fashion week, I met and chatted with many fabulous and talented designers. The exhibition promotes luxurious fashion from sustainable sources which have been ethically acquired. Ecoluxe London is the only exhibition in the UK that showcases and promotes eco luxury as a lifestyle. Held in Holborn, I discovered a few fabulous A/W 2013 pieces at the Ecoluxe show. Therefore I can’t wait to get my styling hands on them for upcoming fashion projects. So before heading off to the Lulu Liu A/W 2013 show, the next LFW show, let me introduce you to…
There is no dedication to the craft like attention to detail and designer Maria of Etrala certainly has it in abundance. Pick any part, at random, of an Etrala piece and you’ll find an unexpected piece of design detail awaiting you. Maria’s dedication to her art is admirable and above all she is such a friendly and warm lady.
BELIEVER JEWELLERY By KATIE WALKER
Meeting another designer Katie, who shared her story and passion of Believer Jewellery with me was inspiring. Her jewellery line has a message literally on each piece and combines various metals and materials in order to create meaningful accessories. These beautiful gold and silver sword charms are part of the enough project. Which above all is aimed at ending genocide and crimes against humanity.
Lisbeth Lovbak Berg was so lovely and her transformable clothing from her label L-L-B is impressive. It was certainly exciting to see her upcycled E.P disk bags and transformational jackets. Indeed very cool ideas for very cool people.
