This week I attended the new A/W 2013 press day hosted by jones+jones at their shop in old Spitalfields market. Being very much familiar with the brand, I was expecting the frills, lace and feminine cuts that they’re known for but I was pleasantly surprised at the details of the new designs. With more edgy styles, oversized bows & lace jumpsuits, I’m even more in love with the new direction of the label. Jones+jones also had metallic pieces on show at their A/W 2013 press day event. This included statement mixed metals, silver, bronze and even gold dresses.
The studio team were so sweet to meet as always. It was a fantastic experience talking to the designers and tailors of the hand made pieces to understand their inspiration behind the creations. With stunning floral displays, pops of pink, delicious candy, bubbly and gorgeous goody bags, it was definitely a fabulous event.
