At the Rich Mix London venue, the Music On The Catwalk show starts and the models walk down the catwalk. They’re wearing my Spring/ Summer 2008 collection pieces whilst Singer Shady Blue belts out 2 of her songs. This is the same collection that I also showed at London Fashion Week.
The mission of ‘Music on the Catwalk’ which they certainly achieved was to bring together old and new icons from the fashion and Music industries. From countries such as Angola, South Africa, Tanzania, Nigeria and Uganda. The show brought together a high caliber of African talent and celebrities across the continent.
Artists came together to promote and celebrate the African lifestyle and rich and diverse cultures of Africa. We also raised money for charities, which was the successful objective of the night.
The audience of the Music On The Catwalk show were lively and we had a fantastic time. I was proud to take part in such a beautiful event and later rub shoulders with artists Komo Blastic, RnB soul singer Dele and Tinie Tempah who was as cute as ever!
